Who doesn't remember eating peanut butter and jelly as a kid?
I still eat it today--and I am not a kid anymore, I promise you.
My daughter LOVES a good P.B. and J as much as her mommy.
A few years ago, she woke up and decided she wanted PB and J for breakfast. PB and J for lunch. And yup, you got it, PB and J for dinner.
That little event inspired me to write her a short story about her love of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
I think I finally perfected it and created some fun writing prompts and literacy center activities to go with it. When I return from Spring Break I will be doing my new Unit with my class.
We will be writing How To Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. We will write about the character in the story and write about our own favorite food. We will make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich craftivity full of adjectives and be engaging in some fun literacy centers.
You can grab this unit now--at a 20% discount--As I'm having a Spring Break Sale this weekend!
Head on over to my store and check out what other goodies you might like.
